COUNSELING

Faith-based counseling is one option offered here at Vista Assembly for those seeking help with emotional/relational/spiritual struggles.  Vicki, our counselor on staff, has attended Vista Assembly for over 23 years.  Her passion is to see people get free of anything that is hindering them from a victorious Christian life.  We recognize the source of real healing and long-term solutions to be God.  The truth is, most of us struggle with something – unwanted emotions, destructive behaviors, relational difficulties.  Most of us also experience times of crisis due to a traumatic event, such as an act of violence, a betrayal, death, divorce, or other significant loss.  We want to say — It’s okay to not be okay!  The counseling environment offers a safe place to process the difficulties of life and ultimately THRIVE in our Christian walk. This process involves: 

TRUSTING God and believing what He says

HEALING emotionally from our painful past

RENEWING of the mind

INVESTING in the process

VALUING our true identity in Christ

EMPOWERED by the Holy Spirit
